Wyndham Rewards has stacked four separate promotions this August, and each one has its own hard deadline. A sweepstakes tied to the Wyndham Championship golf tournament offers a shot at 1 million points through August 9. Separate offers let members stack up to 30,000 bonus points, save up to 25% on paid stays, and buy points with a 90% bonus. None of these run past mid-September, so the window to act is short.

For a full rundown of how Wyndham’s points and elite tiers work outside of these limited-time deals, check our Wyndham Rewards program guide. If you’re weighing whether to buy points now to lock in current award pricing before the chart changes, our breakdown of the 90% bonus points sale covers that angle in detail.

Four deadlines in one month sounds messy, but it’s actually a decent reason to book that trip you’ve been putting off.

What the Promotions Cover

The Wyndham Championship Sweepstakes began on August 6, 2026, at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on August 9, 2026, with four random drawings conducted on or about August 11, 2026. Winners get an email within three to four weeks with a link redeemable for 1,000,000 Wyndham Rewards points, and redemption must happen by October 9, 2026.

A separate offer pays 15,000 bonus points for stays of five or more consecutive nights at WaterWalk Extended Stay by Wyndham and Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham, and members need to register, book directly by June 30, and complete stays by September 30, 2026. Stacking is where this one gets interesting. Wyndham Rewards Insiders can add another 7,500 bonus points, and Wyndham Rewards debit or credit cardholders can add a separate 7,500, for a combined total of 30,000 points.

For paid stays, Wyndham is running a Caesars Rewards Destinations offer worth up to 25% off. Members can enjoy up to 25% off and earn 2X Wyndham Rewards points at participating Caesars Rewards destinations, plus 5,000 bonus points for stays of three or more consecutive nights, as long as they book direct by September 11, 2026 and complete the stay by January 1, 2027.

Rounding out the lineup is a points-buying deal. This deal runs through August 14, 2026, and with the full 90% bonus, points cost as little as 0.68 cents each, with a minimum purchase of 3,000 points required to trigger any bonus. Wyndham will expand its award chart from three tiers to four later this year, so buying and redeeming now locks in today’s lower pricing.

Who Qualifies

The sweepstakes is open only to legal U.S. residents age 18 or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. A free Wyndham Rewards account is required to claim any sweepstakes prize.

The extended-stay bonus applies to anyone with a free Wyndham Rewards account who registers first. The extra 7,500-point boosts are reserved for two specific groups. Wyndham Rewards Insider subscribers get one 7,500-point bonus, and Wyndham Rewards debit or credit cardholders get the other, so stacking both requires belonging to both groups. Anyone curious about the card side of that equation can read our review of applying for the Wyndham Earner Business Card.

The Caesars Rewards Destinations discount and the points-buying bonus are open to any Wyndham Rewards member. Anyone who’s stayed at a Hawthorn property before might already know the brand from our review of Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham.

Our Take

This round of promotions rewards people with trips already on the calendar. The extended-stay bonus and the Caesars discount are worth booking around if the dates line up.

The sweepstakes is a free, low-effort entry and nothing more. Skip the points purchase unless a specific redemption is already planned before September 15.
