Hilton Honors just kicked off its fourth points sale of 2026, and it’s the biggest one yet. Members can buy points with a 100% bonus from August 5 through September 25, 2026. The purchase cap has also jumped higher than in any prior sale this year. Anyone eyeing a Hilton redemption should check their account for this offer before it ends.
You will be paying 0.5 cents per point. Hilton points are generally worth 0.4-0.5 cents but you can get better value if you are strategic. I won’t go out of my way to buy this, but it might be useful if you have a redemption in mind.

What the Buy Points Sale Covers
The 100% Points bonus campaign is available for purchases of 5,000 or more Points made between August 5, 2026 at 12:00am ET and September 25, 2026, at 11:59pm ET. That timing gives members exactly seven weeks to act.
Members may purchase a maximum of 300,000 points per calendar year during this promotion period. That’s a notable jump from prior sales this year. In fact, Hilton has launched its fourth Buy Points Sale for 2026, with an even higher limit than usual.
Delivery is fast once you complete a purchase. Points will be posted to the recipients Hilton Honors account within 48 hours of the completed transaction. One catch worth flagging for elite hunters: points purchased do not count towards elite tier qualification.

Who Qualifies
This sale runs through the standard purchase channel, not a card-specific promotion. All purchases must be made through the Purchase page on HiltonHonors.com. Hilton hasn’t published card-tier eligibility details for this specific sale. If you hold the Hilton Aspire card, this is still just a points purchase, not a card perk.
Terms also note the fine print that governs every Hilton points sale. Points.com and Hilton Honors reserve the right to terminate bonus promotions at any time. So don’t wait until the last day to buy.
Who Actually Benefits
Best case: you’re a few thousand points short of a specific redemption. Topping off at a 100% bonus can close that gap cheaply. This works especially well if you already have a stay booked at a resort like Hilton Waikoloa Village or another award property you’ve priced out.
Worst case: you’re buying points with no redemption plan. Since purchases are non-refundable and don’t help with elite status, speculative buying carries real risk. Hilton is following where IHG and Marriott Bonvoy already went with their own recent buy-points sales.
Anyone building a broader strategy across hotel programs might also compare this against the Alaska Airlines miles sale running around the same time. Stacking purchases across multiple programs rarely pays off unless each one maps to a real trip.

This sale is worth it for anyone with a booked or planned Hilton stay who’s short on points. The 100% bonus and higher 300,000-point cap make it Hilton’s strongest points sale of the year. Skip it if you’re buying speculatively with no redemption in mind. Act before September 25, since Hilton can end this offer without notice.
