Allegiant is finally moving past bare-bones economy. Starting August 1, 2026, every Allegiant flight includes complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, and the airline is adding a first class cabin called Allegiant First that launches in spring 2027.

What the Free Drinks and First Class Rollout Covers
As of August 1, 2026, Allegiant is rolling out a free beverage service onboard all flights, instead of charging for virtually everything, and free drinks include water, soft drinks, and juices. Upgraded alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, like cold brew or bloody mary mix, remain available for purchase.
The bigger structural change is Allegiant First. Allegiant First will consist of eight seats, spread across two rows, in a 2-2 configuration. The Allegiant First product will have 37 inches of pitch. Allegiant First will complement Allegiant Extra, which is Allegiant’s extra legroom economy seating option.

Flights with the new product are expected to go on sale as of mid-August 2026, with the product launching in spring 2027, and the cabin will debut on flights to and from Ft. Myers/Punta Gorda (PGD).
