Bilt Rent Day is back on May 1, 2025, and it’s packed with some serious perks! If you’re a Bilt Rewards member, this is your chance to rack up extra points, win free rent, and score exclusive bonuses—all just for being part of the program.
Note: If you’re planning to pay your mortgage with your Bilt Mastercard, you must request a pre-authorization in advance. This is required and not automatic.
1. Southwest Transfer Bonus – Good
On this Bilt Rent Day, you can transfer Bilt points to Southwest Rapid Rewards with tiered bonuses:
- Blue: 25% bonus
- Silver: 50% bonus
- Gold: 75% bonus
- Platinum: 100% bonus
This is a good option if you plan to fly Southwest. Don’t transfer points unless you have a booking in mind.
2. Amazon Redemption Bonus – Bad
You’ll get a 25% bonus for using Bilt points on Amazon.
Even with the bonus, the value per point is low. Better to save points for travel transfers.
3. Double Points on Non-Rent Purchases – Good (with limits)
On May 1 only:
- Dining: 6x
- Travel: 4x
- Everything else: 2x
Capped at 1,000 bonus points. You must have at least five transactions during your current statement period. Good for normal spending, but don’t overspend just to hit the cap.
4. Bilt Rent Day Free Game Show – Good
In-app game where you can win up to $2,500 in free rent or toward student loans.
No cost to enter, so it’s worth doing. Just remember it’s a lottery-style promo.
5. Fitness and Dining Events – Depends
Free fitness classes and events in select cities.
Useful if you’re near a participating location and book early. Otherwise, skip.
