This post on Bilt Rent Day is updated monthly. Bookmark it and check back on the 1st.

If you are new to Bilt, here is our post: Bilt Rewards 2.0: A Calculator and All You Need to Know about This Exceptional Travel Currency everything you need to know. TLDR: Bilt is the only ecosystem that allows you to earn points for your rent and mortgage.

Once you earn those rewards, you need to spend those. Bilt Rent Day happens on the 1st of every month. It is the single best day to use your Bilt Mastercard and redeem your Bilt Rewards points. Each month brings a new transfer bonus, double-point categories, and the chance to win free rent. We track every Bilt Rent Day offer here so you can compare deals and decide when to act.

How Bilt Rent Day Works

On the 1st of each month, Bilt Rewards runs a 24-hour promotion. It typically starts at 12:00 AM ET and ends at 2:59 AM ET the following day. During that window, members get access to several perks.

Transfer bonuses are the headline feature. Bilt partners with a different airline, hotel, or retailer each month. You can move your Bilt points to that partner at a boosted rate. The bonus amount depends on your Bilt status tier: Blue, Silver, Gold, or Platinum.

Double points on non-rent spending show up most months. When active, your Bilt Mastercard earns 6x on dining, 4x on travel, and 2x on everything else. These rates only apply to non-rent purchases and are often capped at 1,000 bonus points.

The Rent Free game gives every member a shot at winning up to $2,500 toward rent or student loans. It costs nothing to play.

Important: Mortgage Payments

If you pay your mortgage with the Bilt Mastercard, you need to request pre-authorization before your payment processes. This is not automatic. Miss this step and your payment could be declined.

What Makes a Good Rent Day Offer?

Not every Rent Day deal is worth your points. Here is how we evaluate them.

Transfer bonuses to airline and hotel partners are almost always the best value. A 100% bonus to Hilton or Etihad effectively doubles your points. At a Platinum tier, 10,000 Bilt points become 20,000 partner miles. That kind of value is hard to beat.

Gift card and Amazon redemptions sound appealing but deliver poor value. Even with a 50% bonus, you are getting roughly 1 to 1.2 cents per point on Amazon. Compare that to 2+ cents per point through airline transfers, and the math is clear.

Our rule of thumb: transfer only when you have a specific trip in mind. Stockpiling points in a less flexible program just because a bonus exists is a mistake we have made before.

Every Bilt Rent Day Offer (2025-2026)

We track each month’s headline offer below. Higher-status Bilt tiers always receive larger bonuses. Starting in February 2026, Bilt introduced a “Bilt Cash buy-up” option. Members can spend Bilt Cash to temporarily unlock the transfer bonus of the next status tier. Platinum members can push beyond 100% to 125%.

April 2026: Wyndham Rewards Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonusEffective Rate
Blue25%1,000 Bilt = 1,250 Wyndham points
Silver50%1,000 Bilt = 1,500 Wyndham points
Gold75%1,000 Bilt = 1,750 Wyndham points
Platinum100%1,000 Bilt = 2,000 Wyndham points

Members could spend $125 in Bilt Cash to unlock the next tier’s bonus. Platinum members could reach 125%.

Our rating: Skip for most. Wyndham Rewards points are worth about 0.7 cents each. Even at a 125% bonus, you are getting roughly 1.6 cents per Bilt point. That is below what strong airline transfers deliver. Wyndham’s portfolio leans budget with brands like Super 8, La Quinta, and Days Inn. There are a few gems in the Registry Collection, but most travelers will find better value waiting for a different month.

March 2026: Japan Airlines Mileage Bank Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonusEffective Rate
Blue25%1,000 Bilt = 1,250 JAL miles
Silver50%1,000 Bilt = 1,500 JAL miles
Gold75%1,000 Bilt = 1,750 JAL miles
Platinum100%1,000 Bilt = 2,000 JAL miles

Members could spend $135 in Bilt Cash to unlock the next tier. Platinum members could reach 125%.

Our rating: Excellent. This was arguably the best Rent Day offer in the program’s history. JAL Mileage Bank has some of the lowest award chart pricing for premium cabins to Japan. A one-way business class flight from North America to Japan costs just 80,000 JAL miles. At Platinum with the 100% bonus, that is only 40,000 Bilt points. JAL miles also book Oneworld partner flights on American Airlines, British Airways, and Qatar Airways.

One important caveat: JAL miles expire after 36 months with no way to extend them. Only transfer if you have a redemption in mind.

February 2026: Accor Live Limitless (ALL) Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonusEffective Ratio
Blue25%3,000 Bilt = 2,500 ALL points
Silver50%3,000 Bilt = 3,000 ALL points
Gold75%3,000 Bilt = 3,500 ALL points
Platinum100%3,000 Bilt = 4,000 ALL points

This was the first Rent Day where members could use $75 in Bilt Cash to buy up one status tier. Platinum members could reach 125%. The ratios look different here because Bilt transfers to Accor at a base rate of 3:2 instead of 1:1.

Our rating: Strong. ALL points have a fixed value of 2 Euro cents each (roughly 2.4 US cents). At the Platinum 100% rate, you are getting about 3.2 cents per Bilt point. That is excellent. Accor’s portfolio includes Fairmont, Sofitel, and Raffles properties worldwide. ALL points also transfer 1:1 to Flying Blue, which adds even more flexibility.

Note that ALL points expire after 12 months without qualifying activity. Plan accordingly.

January 2026: Targeted Amazon and Rent Credit Bonus

No transfer partner this month. Instead, Bilt offered targeted 30% or 40% bonuses on Amazon redemptions and rent credits. Not all members saw the offer in their app.

Our rating: Skip. Even with a 40% bonus, Amazon redemptions top out around 0.98 cents per Bilt point. Rent credit redemptions are even worse. This was the weakest Rent Day in recent memory. Bilt was likely clearing the deck before the February 2026 launch of its new card lineup.

December 2025: British Airways Avios Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonusEffective Rate
Blue50%1,000 Bilt = 1,500 Avios
Silver60%1,000 Bilt = 1,600 Avios
Gold75%1,000 Bilt = 1,750 Avios
Platinum100%1,000 Bilt = 2,000 Avios

This bonus applied to British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus since they all use the Avios currency. There was also a separate gift card redemption bonus of up to 100%.

Our rating: Strong. Avios are incredibly flexible. You can transfer them freely between BA, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Finnair, and Qatar Airways. Short-haul Avios redemptions on American Airlines domestic flights start at just 7,500 Avios one-way. The 50% base bonus for Blue members was also better than the typical 25%, making this a solid deal across all tiers.

November 2025: Etihad Guest Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonusEffective Rate
Blue25%1,000 Bilt = 1,250 Etihad miles
Silver50%1,000 Bilt = 1,500 Etihad miles
Gold75%1,000 Bilt = 1,750 Etihad miles
Platinum100%1,000 Bilt = 2,000 Etihad miles

Our rating: Strong. Etihad Guest miles unlock premium cabin redemptions on routes like Abu Dhabi to London in First Class for 120,000 miles. At the Platinum rate, that is 60,000 Bilt points. You can also redeem Etihad Guest miles on partner airlines like American Airlines and ANA.

One thing to know: Etihad only allows one account linking attempt per 24 hours. If you unlink, wait a full day before reconnecting.

October 2025: Amazon 50% Bonus

Bilt StatusBonus
Blue20%
Silver30%
Gold40%
Platinum50%

Our rating: Skip. Even with the 50% bonus, Bilt points redeemed through Amazon are worth roughly 0.7 to 1.2 cents each. You can do far better with travel transfers. We recommend holding your points for a stronger month.

September 2025: Virgin Red Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonusEffective Rate
Blue25%1,000 Bilt = 1,250 Virgin points
Silver50%1,000 Bilt = 1,500 Virgin points
Gold75%1,000 Bilt = 1,750 Virgin points
Platinum100%1,000 Bilt = 2,000 Virgin points

Our rating: Good. Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles are versatile. You can book Delta flights, ANA Business Class to Japan, and premium cabin seats on Virgin Atlantic itself. The ANA sweet spot is especially strong at 60,000 miles one-way in business class from the US to Japan.

August 2025: Avianca LifeMiles Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonusEffective Rate
Blue25%1,000 Bilt = 1,250 LifeMiles
Silver50%1,000 Bilt = 1,500 LifeMiles
Gold75%1,000 Bilt = 1,750 LifeMiles
Platinum100%1,000 Bilt = 2,000 LifeMiles

Our rating: Good. Avianca LifeMiles is a Star Alliance program with solid award chart pricing. Economy flights within the US start at 7,500 miles one-way on United. Business class to Europe runs about 63,000 miles. LifeMiles also does not pass through fuel surcharges on most partners, which saves real money.

July 2025: Gift Card Redemption Bonus

Bilt StatusBonus
Blue25%
Silver50%
Gold75%
Platinum100% (2x value)

Available gift cards included Nordstrom, Uber, Wayfair, and Domino’s. At Platinum, 7,000 points got you $100 in gift cards.

Our rating: Decent, not great. Better than Amazon redemptions, but still below what you can get from airline transfers. If you needed cash-like value immediately, this worked. Otherwise, hold.

June 2025: Accor Live Limitless (ALL) Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonus
Blue50%
Silver50%
Gold200%
Platinum200%

Our rating: Strong for Gold and Platinum members. A 200% bonus means 10,000 Bilt points became 30,000 ALL points. That is worth roughly $645 in Accor hotel stays at brands like Sofitel, Fairmont, and Pullman. Even better, ALL points transfer 1:1 to Flying Blue (Air France/KLM) and Iberia Avios. For Gold and Platinum members, this effectively created a 2:1 Bilt-to-airline-miles pipeline.

For Blue and Silver members, the 50% bonus was still useful but not a standout.

May 2025: Southwest Rapid Rewards Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusBonus
Blue25%
Silver50%
Gold75%
Platinum100%

This month also included an Amazon 25% bonus (skip) and the standard double points on non-rent purchases (6x dining, 4x travel, 2x other), capped at 1,000 bonus points.

Our rating: Good for Southwest flyers. Southwest points are worth about 1.4 cents each on average. A 100% bonus at Platinum effectively doubles that. However, Southwest only makes sense if you fly them regularly. Do not transfer just to stockpile.

March 2025: Hilton Honors Transfer Bonus

Bilt StatusStandard RatioBonusNew Ratio
Blue1:1150%1:2.5
All Other Tiers1:1200%1:3

Our rating: Excellent. This was one of the best Rent Day offers we have seen. At a 200% bonus, every Bilt point turned into 3 Hilton points. Hilton Honors points are worth about 0.5 to 0.6 cents each, so 3x the points is roughly 1.5 to 1.8 cents per Bilt point. That is strong, especially for aspirational stays at Conrad and Waldorf Astoria properties.

Tips for Maximizing Bilt Rent Day

Move up in Bilt status. The difference between Blue (25% bonus) and Platinum (100% bonus) is massive. You reach higher tiers by earning more points and completing qualifying activities. If you recently upgraded to Palladium, check out our experience with the Bilt Palladium upgrade for what to expect.

Never transfer speculatively. Only move points when you have a booking in mind. Transfer bonuses look exciting, but partner miles sitting in an account you do not use are worth zero.

Stack the double points. If double points are running, plan your dining and travel spending for the 1st. But do not overspend to chase the 1,000-point cap. That is $500 in everyday spending at 2x. If it aligns with your normal budget, great. If not, skip it.

Play the Rent Free game. It takes 30 seconds and costs nothing. We have not won yet, but it is free.

Set a calendar reminder. Rent Day offers expire at 2:59 AM ET on the 2nd. Miss the window and you miss the bonus. We set a recurring reminder on the last day of every month.

Consider the Bilt Cash buy-up (2026 and beyond). Starting in February 2026, you can spend Bilt Cash to temporarily unlock the next status tier’s transfer bonus. The cost ranges from $75 to $135 depending on the month. If you are transferring a large balance, the extra points can be worth several times what you spend. Do the math before each transfer.

How We Rate Each Month

We use a simple scale based on the value you can extract per Bilt point.

Strong means 1.5+ cents per point through travel redemptions. These are the months worth transferring. Examples: Hilton at 200%, JAL at 100%, Etihad at 100%, Accor at 200%, and British Airways at 100%.

Good means 1.2 to 1.5 cents per point, or a useful partner for specific travel plans. Southwest, Virgin Atlantic, and Avianca LifeMiles fit here.

Decent means the offer has some value but falls short of travel transfers. Gift card bonuses typically land here.

Skip means the offer returns less than 1.2 cents per point. Amazon redemptions, even with bonuses, consistently fall in this category.

Our Take

Bilt Rent Day is one of the most creative loyalty perks in the points world. The transfer bonuses alone make it worth paying attention to the 1st of every month.

My advice: bookmark this page, check back monthly, and only pull the trigger when a bonus aligns with travel you are actually planning. The best Rent Day offer is the one that gets you on a plane or into a hotel room you have been eyeing. If this month’s deal does not fit, your points will still be there next month.
