Sid World of Hyatt just rolled out a new resort promotion for early 2027. Members who register between August 3 and September 30, 2026 can earn a Category 1-4 Free Night Award for every three qualifying nights at select resorts.
The qualifying stays must happen between January 1 and March 31, 2027. Anyone planning a Latin America or Caribbean beach trip that quarter should register before the deadline.
This promotion sits inside the broader World of Hyatt program, which regularly runs stay-based bonus offers for its members. It follows a familiar Hyatt pattern of rewarding paid resort stays with certificate perks.
The registration timeline feels backwards. You have to sign up months before the stay window even opens, and the certificates you earn expire just weeks after the promotion ends.
What the Promotion Covers
The mechanics are straightforward. Register during the sign-up window, then stay at participating resorts in Latin America and the Caribbean. Every three Eligible Nights earns one Category 1-4 Free Night Award, up to a maximum of five awards.
An Eligible Night counts if you pay an eligible rate or redeem a free night award during the stay. That flexibility lets members stack this promotion with existing certificates.

Once earned, the certificates work like any other Hyatt free night certificate. Hyatt says it can take two to three weeks after checkout for the award to post. That timing matters given how tight the redemption window already is.
The best case is simple. If you already planned a Latin America or Caribbean resort trip for early 2027, this is free upside. Stack enough nights across the quarter and you could walk away with several free night certificates.
The worst case involves timing. Certificates earned late in March 2027 must still be redeemed by June 30, 2027. That leaves as little as a few months to book and use the last award.
Worth noting too: many participating resorts run on an all-inclusive category system, separate from standard Category 1-4 hotels. That means the certificate you earn may not apply back to the same resort where you stayed. Check the map of eligible redemption properties before booking to confirm where your certificate will actually work.
This isn’t a promotion worth booking a trip around from scratch. It only pays off if a qualifying stay was already on your calendar.
