Bilt Rent Day is back on September 1, 2025, and this time you get a bonus for mile transfers to Virgin Atlantic. For one day only, you can redeem your Bilt Points at boosted rates depending on your status. If you’re looking for a quick way to get value from your points, this is an easy win. Want to dig deeper? Here’s how it works:
The offer runs from 12:00am ET on September 1, 2025 through 2:59am ET on September 2, 2025.
Note that Virgin Red is a separate loyalty program from Virgin Atlantic Flying Club but you can move points between them at a 1:1 ratio. There are some good values in the program but be careful of fuel surcharges.
You can redeem points in the Bilt app or on the website, and you’ll get a redemption boost based on your status. Bilt currently says this month’s bonus is up to 100%. We don’t know what the tiers are. We suspect it will be something like:
- Blue: 40% more value
- Silver: 60% more
- Gold: 80% more
- Platinum: 100% more (2x value)
Is it worth it?
If you have a particular redemption in mind, yes. If not, I won’t speculatively transfer points given the high surcharges that come to Virgin Atlantic tickets.
