Whether it’s a small pile of domestic miles or a massive bank of transferable points, every reward has a place in a well-scaled strategy. We focus on helping you be strategic in which cards you get and how you can maximize those points to travel.

I’m Sid, the traveler behind this site. My journey started as a simple “back-up plan” to help pay for expensive personal travel.

I realized that with the right strategy, this hobby scales incredibly well. Since then, I have earned and spent over 15 million miles across nearly every major global loyalty program. This blog is where I share what I’ve learned about being this hobby (and ramble a bit), hoping it will also help you travel and see the world.

In the last 10 years, I have flown more than a million miles, visited 26 counties and spent 1,322 days on the road. Many (most?) of these were using miles and points. You can do it too.

We value objective reviews over marketing hype. To give you the truth about a redemption or a credit card, we follow a strict standard:

  • If we won’t use it, we won’t recommend it to you.
  • We primarily use photos we’ve taken ourselves.
  • We like data, so you will see them throughout the posts. Data helps us being objective, rather than just stating opinions.
