The Chase Sapphire Reserve is one of those cards that can pay for itself if you travel even a few times a year. One of its most useful benefits is the Edit Hotel Credit — up to $500 each year, split into two $250 periods. Add in the $300 annual travel credit, and you’re already $800 ahead if you use them wisely.

Finding where to use these credits, though, is annoying. Chase does not publish a map of these properties. That’s why we put together this map of the Chase Edit Hotel Collection — so you can see all the properties that qualify before you book.

Chase Edit Hotel Credit

Here’s how the Edit Credit works:

  • $250 from January to June
  • $250 from July to December

Each period is separate, and unused credits don’t roll over. When you book a hotel from the Edit Hotel Collection through Chase Travel, the credit applies automatically once your charge posts. There’s nothing to enroll in or activate.

Chase $300 Annual Travel Credit

Every Sapphire Reserve cardholder also gets a $300 annual travel credit. It automatically covers travel expenses like hotels, flights, car rentals, parking, and tolls. This one resets every cardmember year (not calendar year).

Between this and the Edit Credit, you’re getting up to $800 a year in travel value without having to do anything special.

Complimentary Benefits

When you book through the Edit Hotel Collection, you also get a few extra perks that make your stay feel more personal:

  • Daily breakfast for two
  • $100 property credit for dining, spa, or resort activities
  • Room upgrade at check-in (when available)
  • Early check-in and late check-out (when available)
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

These come automatically when you book through travel.chase.com. You don’t need elite status or codes — just book with your Sapphire Reserve.

Where You Can Use the Credit

You can only use the Edit Hotel Credit at properties listed in the Chase Edit Hotel Collection. These are hand-picked for their design, service, and location. You’ll find them in cities and resort destinations all over the world.

Some popular ones include:

  • Hilton Tokyo Bay
  • The Miami Beach EDITION
  • The Bodrum EDITION
  • The London EDITION
  • The Sanya EDITION

What the Credit Covers

Your Edit Hotel Credit can be used for room rates and taxes. Just make sure the booking goes through travel.chase.com and is paid with your Sapphire Reserve card. If you book directly with the hotel or through a third party, the credit won’t apply.

How to Get the Most From It

Plan Twice a Year
Because the credit resets mid-year, plan one stay before June and another after July.

Combine With the $300 Travel Credit
Your travel credit usually applies first, followed by the Edit Credit — together that’s $800 in covered travel costs.

Book Premium Properties
Use your credit at higher-end Edit Collection hotels where amenities like dining and spa credits go further.

Earn Points Too
You’ll still earn 10x Ultimate Rewards points on the full amount of your booking, even if some or all of it gets reimbursed.

Stack the Perks
Take advantage of breakfast, late check-out, upgrades, and the $100 property credit — all included automatically.

Example: Hilton Tokyo Bay

If you book Park Hyatt Seoul through Chase Travel as part of the Edit Hotel Collection, your $250 Edit Credit will automatically apply. You’ll also get breakfast for two, a $100 property credit, and a possible upgrade. Combine that with the $300 annual travel credit, and you can save around $550 on a single stay, plus earn points on the total amount charged.

Summary

The Chase Edit Hotel Collection is one of the easiest ways to get real value from the Chase Sapphire Reserve. With two $250 Edit Credits, a $300 annual travel credit, and automatic perks like breakfast and property credits, it’s built for travelers who want simple, high-end rewards without complicated hoops.

Use the Chase Edit Hotels Map above to find participating properties, plan your next trip, and make sure you use both credits every year.
